John E. Long, age 60, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Sycamore Medical Center in Miamisburg, Ohio.

   John was born December 18, 1956, in Dayton, the son of John B. and Gladys (Camper) Long.  He worked in construction and enjoyed fishing and baseball.

   John is survived by his sister: Linda Snyder (husband George) of Dayton, OH; a niece:  Kelly Snyder; and a great-niece: Analise.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

   A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora.  There is no visitation.  Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
