James Lee Cross, age 80, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away Wednesday morning, December 2, 2020, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

   He was born December 4, 1939, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Virgil Lee and Mary Elizabeth (Fleener) Cross.

   Jim served in the Army and was a past American Legion member.  He spent the later part of his working career as a field service technician for Independent Technology.  He enjoyed time spent fishing and loved raising tomatoes.

   He is survived by a stepdaughter: Denise Rae (Glen) Evans of Venice, Florida and a cousin: Robert Thomas of Cisne.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
