George C. King Jr. “Tut”, age 59, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was the son of the late George C. King, Sr. and Maryln (Greer) Corley, and the grandson of Curtis and Gladys (Henson) King. He was the father of Shawn Vick, Corey Vick, and Zachary King; stepfather of Jeremy Hood; and grandfather of two grandchildren. He was the brother of Lisa Smith, Michael King, David King, and the late Barry and Gary King.
Tut was an avid golfer and loved bowling and fishing. He was an Army veteran.
Private burial will take place at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Xenia, Illinois, with the presentation of military funeral honors.
Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora assisted the family with local arrangements.

I’m just so sad to see this! I’m Harry Henson’s youngest daughter. I’m sorry I’m not in Illinois to see you all and express my condolences in person.

We are so sorry to learn of your loss. Larry was a friend and classmate of George, Sr. We also knew your grandparents and other family members. Again, we extend our sincere sympathy.
M y grandfather Robert Frances King was a cousin to Curt King. I remember the family from years ago-my sincere sympathy.
