John Richard Allen, age 83, of Flora, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

   John was born June 29, 1932 in Macoupin County to Charles William and Sara Blanche (Lofton) Allen.  He was a truck driver, working locally throughout the area, and was affiliated with the Flora Assembly of God.

   He is survived by several children and grandchildren.
