He is preceded in passing by his parents; brothers: Ted and Stan Leathers; and a nephew: Steve Leathers.

Private family services will be held.  Interment will take place in Oak Mound Cemetery in Xenia.  Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora.  Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.  To share a condolence or memory, visit: www.frankandbright.com

Condolences to the family. Charlie was a great guy who I've known since I was thirteen year's old. That when I was asked to join Les Gragert and His Ramrods, by Charlie and Les. I played with them until I was eightern year's old. Charlie and I occasionally run into each other, throughout the year's. We were alway's close during those year's and beyond. I hate to hear of his passing, but was alway's proud to call him a bandmate and friend. Rest in Peace Charlie, save me a seat on the celestial bandstand with you, Les, and Gene. You are firmly in my heart and memory.

Charlie was my Village Hall buddy and I will miss him dearly. He always had that wonderful smile on his face when he showed up. We had so many wonderful conversations about his life growing up and as an adult. We tried to solve all the world's problems with our talks, to bad they never worked. R.I.P. my friend.

I can say I knew the Leathers family since I played baseball with Ted and Stan. Lowell was my Little League coach. Last saw Charlie many years ago at Walmart when I was visiting Flora. Talked about old times. He was one of the good ones.
