Memorial Ceremony: 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Enterprise Community Church

Private interment will take place in Laird Cemetery.

Braden Christopher Robertson, age 29, of Franklin, Indiana, and formerly of Wayne County, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025.

He was born October 15, 1995, the son of John Remus and Jennifer Diana (Neavill) Robertson.

Braden had worked at Harr’s Ace Hardware in Flora and recently started as a certified Stihl technician at Hadwell Hardware in Franklin, Indiana.  Braden’s career achievements included certifications in Webber Grill systems and Stihl small engine repair.  Braden was known for his quick wit, light-hearted teasing of his sisters, and love of sports.  In high school he excelled in wrestling, winning several matches, qualifying for sectionals, and ended his wrestling career in the top 20 in the state.  Braden enjoyed watching UFC fights at Buffalo Wild Wings, spending time outdoors, hiking, taking walks with his dog, Hank, and attending Bible study.  In a final act of generosity, Braden gave the gift of life to as many as 12 people through the selfless donation of his organs.

He is survived by his father: John Robertson of Clay City; mother: Jennifer Robertson of Louisville; 2 sisters: Kylee Robertson of Louisville and Aliah Robertson of Louisville; a niece and nephew: Lynnex Hutcheson and Tripp Hutcheson, both of Louisville; his beloved dog Hank; 5 aunts: Carrie (Bill) Fowler of Flora, Mary Denise Smith of Cisne, Bettina (Jeremy) Shank of Guthrie, Kentucky, Amy Cobb of Allensville, Kentucky, Angela Robertson of Guthrie, Kentucky; an uncle: Travis Robertson of Russellville, Kentucky; numerous great aunts, great uncles, and cousins; and special friends: Dylan Powell of Geff and Nate (Chelsea) McIntosh of Flora.

Braden was greeted in Heaven by his grandmother: Phyllis Neavill; grandfather: Arlo Hugh Neavill Jr.; a cousin: Dayne Harrison; his great-grandparents: Remus and Cleo Robertson; and his beloved dog, Bo Bo.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Enterprise Community Church.  Private interment will take place in Laird Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with expenses.  Please make checks payable to Jennifer Robertson.  To share a condolence or memory, visit: www.frankandbright.com

I had the opportunity talk with this good young man two days before his death he had fixed a saw for me and we talked about things in general but the most important fact was he is a Christian and we witnessed about having Jesus as our lord and saviour we never know God's plan for us but we need to be ready for what ever it is God has blessed me by placing Braden and me together for that short period of time

My heart is broken . I have nothing but love for the family and friends of Braden. I remeber when he was born and holding him for the first time and how good of a baby he was. He used to give Jenn a run for the money in his Johnny jump up smiling and laughing he was always so happy. He's gone to soon and he will be missed. Love you guys with all of my heart. I am so sorry for this senseless tragedy.

I had the privilege to meet him at the grocery store in Franklin. My son was being well, a toddler. He was throwing stuff out of my cart and he stopped me and gave me the stuff he had thrown. He reassured me that I was doing a good job. I remember his kindness in my moment of stress. Seeing what happened to him just days later doesn’t seem fair and although he didn’t live in this town long, all of our hearts ache. Our community chat is full of heartfelt sorrows for this young man. I am so sorry for the selfish act that took him way too soon. I want the family to know they could not have raised a better boy and I hope one day my son takes a page out of his book.
