Vera I. Mattingly, age 71, of Flora, IL died at 12:30 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora.

Vera was born on June 2, 1941 in Marion County, IL to Robert and Bertha (Westerfield) Hufhine. She is survived by 2 sons: Lawrence and Ricky Eveland; cousin: Pearl Landreth; sister-in-law: Wanda Hufhine; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Neil Hufhine.

The funeral service for Vera Mattingly will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at the Lovell Grove Cemetery in Omega.
