JoAnn Kebodeaux, age 76, of Flora, Illinois, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 29, 2021, at her home.
She was born May 20, 1945, in Fairfield, a daughter of the late Ernest D. and Waneta E. (Locke) Toombs. She married Elmo Kebodeaux, and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2018.
JoAnn loved her grandkids and her family. That’s truly how she would want to simply be remembered.
She is survived by her children: David Bennett, Robin Will, Charles Bennett, Autumn Bennett, and Susan Kebodeaux; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister: Joni Toombs-Henderson.

Robin , David and family, im So very sorry for the loss of your mom! She was such a sweetheart! I remember her and my mom working together years ago! They were good friends! Please know your in my thoughts and prayers!

Joann was a classmate of mine in our eighth grade year of school at Geff Grade School. We all enjoyed that year together, even though we had three different teachers to get us smart enough to graduate. She was always such a fun loving person, the kind you never forget.

Prayers for the family. JoAnne was a wonderful woman and we had a lot of fun working together at the Elks Club in Fairfield. I will always cherish her memory not only as a cousin but also a friend.
