Phyllis Lea Locke, age 73, of Noble, Illinois, passed away Tuesday morning, February 9, 2021, at her home. 

   She was born March 27, 1947, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Oliver W. and Gwendolyn A. (Sager) Applebey.

   Phyllis was a graduate of Edwards County High School.  She later attended Vincennes University where she earned a degree as a Medical Records technician.  She was a member of Marion Christian Church and enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crocheting.

   She is survived by her children: Lisa (Jerry) Henson of Albion, Brent (Kelly) Tracy of Noble, and Bradley (Melany) Tracy of Noble; 9 grandchildren: Heather (Emil) Borowiak, Amy (Blake) Kensler, Matthew Henson, Ashley Tracy, Derick Tracy, Tyler Tracy, Faith (Josh) Ashbaugh, Jacob (Anastasia) Prochazka, and Ethan Tracy; 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Ed (Pat) Applebey of West Salem.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson: Kevin Henson; and a great-grandson: Noah Tracy.

   A graveside ceremony will be held 1 p.m. Monday February 15, 2021, at Marion Christian Church Cemetery in Edwards County.  Those attending are asked to arrive directly at the cemetery.  Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.  To share a memory or condolence visit: www.frankandbright.com
