Patricia Ann Crumbacher, age 71, of Salem, Illinois, and formerly of Flora, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Salem Township Hospital.
Patti was born March 17, 1954, in Colorado, the daughter of the late Alexander and Maybelle (Harvey) Brunner.
She married William E. Crumbacher on July 11, 1979, in Colorado.
Patti had worked as a teacher’s assistant through CEFS Head Start.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Crumbacher of Salem; a daughter, Trisha Wade and husband Aaron of Alabama; a grandson, Kyle Martin of Flora; and a brother, Stanley Brunner of California.
There will be no services. Private interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora.

I remember Patti well from working with her at Head start. I really enjoyed working with her and Ms. Connie. We will be praying for the family that the Lord Jesus gives you peace and comfort during this time of grief.
