There are no public services, and private interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
Connie Sue (Lamb) Johnson, age 78, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Friday afternoon, December 20, 2019, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born January 4, 1941, in Flora, the daughter of Ray and Arlene (Moore) Lamb. Connie and Delbert Eugene Johnson were united in marriage in 1958. Gene preceded her in death on December 29, 1980.
Connie is survived by 2 sons: David (Maralee) Johnson of Flora and Perry Johnson of Salem; a daughter-in-law: Sherry Johnson of Sailor Springs; 3 grandchildren: Tiffany (Jed) Dunnigan of Effingham, and Todd (Harley) Johnson and Trenton (Cayla) Johnson both of Xenia; a great-grandson: Barrett Dunnigan of Effingham; a brother: Mike (Debbie) Lamb of Olney; a brother-in-law: Max Pressgrove of Decatur; a sister-in-law: Kay Lamb of Cisne; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son: Marty W. Johnson; a sister: Peggy Pressgrove; and a brother: Larry Lamb.
There are no public services, and private interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to either Fur A Good Paws, the Clay County Cancer Crusaders, or a charity of the donor’s choice, and any of these will be accepted through the funeral home.

Dave and Maralee: We are so very sorry for the loss of your mother. It’s always difficult to lose a parent but even more so at holiday time. We lost Bud’s mother three days before Christmas so we know what you’re going through. Please know that y’all are in our thoughts and prayers.
