Alline Bailey, age 92, of Olney, Illinois, formerly of Flora, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Alline was born June 24, 1925, in Champaign, the daughter of Charles and Mae (Sparks) Bryan. She was married to Arthur L. Bailey who preceded her in death.

There will be no services and a private burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.

Alline and my mother, Famie Payne, were roommates at Burgin Manor for several months. Alline was such a sweet lady. After my mother’s death in September of this year, I would visit Alline. She was always happy to see me and gave me the biggest smiles. She was a comfort to me.
