Mary Jacqueline “Jackie” Davis, age 78, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
Jackie was born May 27, 1938 in Eagle Lake, Maine, the daughter of Rene and Isabelle (Saucier) Audibert. She had been married to Edwin E. Davis who preceded her in death in 1996. Jackie was of the Christian faith and had been a member of Flora Eagles, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She worked in restaurants and later did home health and was employed at Clay County Hospital. Jackie enjoyed get- togethers, loved being outside, and was always busy working in her yard. She was already planning her garden for next summer.
Jackie is survived by her children: Edwin E. Davis Jr. (wife Carla) of Chester, Maine, Clifton Allen Davis (fiancée Vicky) of Cisne, Janet Marie Davis of Louisville, and Keith Owen Davis (wife Leah) of Paxton; 12 grandchildren: Randy, Daniel, Misty, Danny, Bruce, Chyenne, Levi, Cody, Harper, Bradley, Piper, and Sophie; along with several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 grandchildren: Rudy and Annie; and 14 siblings: Leonard Audibert, Alcide Audibert, Lawrence Bouchard, Florence Dubay, Lillian Bouchard, Arthur Bouchard, Freda Daigle, Tina Daigle, Wilford Audibert, Mildred Dickey, Leontine Southerland, Willard Audibert, Elphina Goso, and Joann Tash.
A funeral service for Jackie Davis will be 7 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with visitation 5:30-7 p.m. on Friday.

I met Jackie years ago when she was recommended to do home health care. She was an excellent caregiver and she always managed to brighten my mother's day. She was a very sweet lady. We enjoyed her friendship.

So sorry to hear about Jackie's passing she was a very special lady. I remember her finding my number and calling me when my mother passed a few years ago. I know her and my mom and all the others before her are having a wonderful family reunion in heaven. My prayers to the rest of the family.
