Harriett M. Scott, age 72, of Flora, formerly of Louisville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora.

   Harriett was born November 22, 1942 in Gary, Indiana to Oren Bud and Dorothy (Laviolette) Bauser.  She married Gary L. Scott on July 21, 1978 in Crown Point, IN.  He preceded her in death on December 23, 2000.  Harriett was a homemaker and was raised in the Catholic faith.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and looked forward to visits from her grandkids.

   She is survived by her children: Mary Jo Buddack of Indiana, Lisa Buddack of Highland, IN, Carl Buddack of Alabama, Kelly Stone (Leroy Martin) of Flora; a sister: Pam Sherrick of Wisonsin;  and 4 grandchildren: Harley Rose and Logan, Megan and Natasha Stone.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son: Eli Buddack, a brother: Bud Bauser, and a sister: Lindy Bauser.

   A funeral service for Harriet Scott will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Interment will be in Scott Cemetery, rural Wayne County.  Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be given to assist with funeral expenses and will be accepted by Frank & Bright Funeral Home.  To share a condolence, visit www.frankandbright.com.
