Theresa Ann Caudle, age 62, of Flora, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
Theresa was born February 3, 1953 in Kankakee to Donald E. and Bernadine A. (Donley) Boyer. She married Randy Joe Caudle on August 13, 1973 in Elizabethtown. Theresa worked in medical administration, and especially enjoyed the time spent working with Dr. Bunnell. She was a loving mother and wife, and was a “mother” to all who walked through her door. She also played “Mom” when caring for her family pets, and had helped with Fur A Good Paws. Theresa enjoyed doing many crafts in her spare time, including ceramics, flower arranging, cake decorating, candle making, and oil painting. Many will remember the good memories that were made when spending time around their pool.
She is survived by her husband Joe Caudle of Flora; mother: Bernadine Boyer of Flora; daughter: Melissa (Kevin) Hall of St. Louis, MO; siblings: Donna Boyer of Flora, Darrell Boyer of Flora, David (Sharon) Boyer of Tulsa, OK, and Rhonda Keck of Vienna; a half-sister Deborah Mercer of Ocala, FL; along with a number of nieces and nephews, and other special family members and friends, including her “daughter” Jodi West. She was preceded in death by her father and half-brother: Ritchie Piasecki.
A funeral service for Theresa Caudle will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2015, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will be in Onstott Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 14th, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Clay County Cancer Crusaders or to the family to assist with expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Sadden by the passing of my cousin (Theresa). Even though it has been many of years that we haven't seen each other, I will never forget her red hair, her smiling face & her pleasant personality. God & heaven will be blessed by her presence. Prayers for Joe, Melissa, Bernadine, Donna, David, Darrell & Rhonda. I will not be able to be present for her services, I will arrive in Salem this coming Saturday evening.
