Jimmie C. Bright, age 67, of Johnsonville, Illinois passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield.

   Jimmie was born April 19, 1947 in Wayne County, the son of Emil and Mabel (Withrow) Bright.  He was a farmer and had also worked at Flora International Shoe Company.  Jimmie enjoyed working outside and taking care of his pigs.  He also liked playing jokes on friends and playing Bingo.

   Jimmie is survived by 2 brothers: Eber (Pat) Bright of Cisne and Larry Gene Bright of Johnsonville; sister-in-law: Beverly Bright of Rochelle; along with several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers: Lewis Ray, Jerry W., Robert L., Leslie Gene, and Billie Joe Bright.

   A funeral service for Jimmie Bright will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Jacob’s Chapel Cemetery, Orchardville.  Memorial donations may be made to Way-Fair Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.  To express a condolence, please visit www.frankandbright.com.
