Brenda Faye Williams, age 66, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her home.

      She was born March 16, 1960, in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Ellis “Speck” and Cora D. (Gerrish) Williams.

      She is survived by her son: Derek Logan Cousert of Carlyle; 3 brothers: Junior (Velma) Williams of Bourbonnais, Stanley Williams of Manteno, and Marty (Ethel) Williams of Manteno; special friend: Tarena Hayes of Flora; and several nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in passing by her parents; a sister: Carolyn Wisdom; a brother: Donald Williams; 2 nephews: Randy Wisdom and Dusty Williams; and a sister-in-law: Paula Ray Williams.
