Marlene Dulaney

A graveside ceremony will be held in the spring of 2021 at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. 


   Marlene Lucille Dulaney, age 81, of Flora, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at The Windsor of Lawrence in Lawrence, Kansas.

   She was born Nov 3, 1939, in Long Beach, California.  She was united in marriage to Joseph Donald Dulaney on June 14, 1958, in Santa Barbara, California and together they shared 45 wedding anniversaries until his death January 22, 2004. 

   Marlene took pride in raising her family first and foremost, then sports came as a close second.  Marlene loved to cross stitch and enjoyed gardening, garden club, playing the piano and violin, and traveling.  She had a beautiful life surrounded by Joseph’s large family in the Flora/Xenia area where she was exceptionally loved.

   Marlene is survived by her children: Donald Warren Dulaney of Kansas, David Steven Dulaney of Wisconsin, and Allison Marlene Dulaney of Washington; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

   A graveside ceremony will be held in the spring of 2021 at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora.  Arrangements are in the care of Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, and in lieu of services during this time please share a memory or condolence at:
