Lisa Miller Kermicle, 57, of Morganfield, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana, after a courageous battle with CNS vasculitis.  Born on December 11, 1968, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lisa was a beacon of light and warmth to all who knew her.

Lisa was the cherished daughter of Wesley and Cheryl Miller of Flora, Illinois, and sister to Wesley Sean Miller of Flora.  She was preceded in passing by her paternal grandmother, Norma Jean Miller, and her maternal grandparents, Doyle and Helen Levitt.

Lisa was a member of First Christian Church of Flora, where she was baptized as a child.  She was a graduate of the Flora High School Class of 1987.  She continued her education by attending Lake Land College, where she earned an associate's degree in dental hygiene.  Her professional journey as a dental hygienist saw her lending her expertise and kindness to multiple dental offices across the tri-state area over the span of her career.  Her colleagues and patients alike will remember her as a dedicated professional who truly cared for others.

Lisa was married to her loving husband, Rhett, for 34 wonderful years.  Their marriage was a testament to true partnership, filled with love and laughter.

Lisa and Rhett had one daughter, Katlyn Jeffords of Crestwood, Kentucky.  Katlyn is married to Thomas Jeffords and the two have one son, Jude Wesley Jeffords.  Lisa was a proud and devoted “Lolli” to her precious grandson Jude.  He truly was the light of her life.

Lisa had a deep love for animals and had rescued multiple dogs and cats over the years.  She was a sports fan and loved University of Louisville basketball.  She had an adventurous spirit and a love for travel, especially cruising, which took her to many beautiful places around the world.  Her vibrant personality and genuine warmth meant that she never met a stranger and could make a friend anywhere she went.  Lisa's laughter and ability to light up a room will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
