Bill Muncy

     William “Bill” L. Muncy, age 59, of Clay City, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, in Monticello, Indiana. 

     He was born February 21, 1959, in Owensboro, Kentucky, the son of Leo Layne Muncy and Ruth (Allen) Muncy.  He married Patricia Hall, and she preceded him in death.  He was later united in marriage to Beverly A. White on April 26, 2008, and they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this year.

     Bill welcomed the chance to enjoy and share his interests, including his Farmall tractor and Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and he looked forward to deer hunting season.  He loved every opportunity to spend some time with his grandkids and make special memories with them.  He was a heavy equipment mechanic for the past 17 years, making field repairs for ElectriCom, Inc., and was recognized for his outstanding achievement of traveling over a million accident-free miles.

     He is survived by his wife: Beverly Muncy of Clay City; children: Jason Farris (Shay) of Clay City and Michelle King (Matt) of Newburgh, Indiana; 5 grandchildren: Breana, Jackson, Jake, Gabriella, and Drake; a brother: Dennis W. Muncy (Mary) of Philpot, Kentucky; his late father’s wife: Linda Young Muncy of Owensboro, Kentucky; an aunt: Kay Carlton of Owensboro, Kentucky; several brothers- and sisters-in-law that are siblings of both wife Beverly and late wife Patricia; good co-worker friends: Chris Clements, Mike Busenburg, and Brian Busenburg; and many other friends and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; a grandson: Benjamin Lee; and several in-laws.

     A funeral service for Bill Muncy will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.  Burial will follow at Mt.
