Kerry Bray
Aug 15th, 1957 - May 25th, 2023Kerry Nate Bray, age 65, of Flora, Illinois, passed away early Thursday morning, May 25, 2023, at Clay County Hospital.
He was born August 15, 1957, in Champaign, the son of Darwin Monroe and Betty Lindell (Hargrave) Bray Sr.
Kerry had worked for Oskaloosa Township, Xenia Manufacturing, and most recently had done maintenance and janitorial work for Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. He was an avid Cardinals baseball fan. Kerry enjoyed watching trains, listening to country and bluegrass music, and spending time on the porch watching the birds with Billie.
He is survived by his daughter: Brenda Colclasure (Dale Stockon) of Flora; 2 brothers: Darwin (Paulette) Monroe Bray Jr. and Harley Leon Bray of Flora; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a sister: Linda Rolston; significant other: Billie Colclasure; and 2 uncles: Nate Bray and Francis Bray.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date with interment in Oskaloosa Cemetery. Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
