     Tressa Lynn Hamilton, age 62, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday night, September 17, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri.

     She was born June 28, 1958, in Rinard, Illinois, the daughter of Rex J. and Betty L. (Spitzner) Brown.  She was united in marriage to Stuart Hamilton on August 24, 1979, in Fairfield, and together they have shared 41 wedding anniversaries.

     Tressa had worked at a restaurant in the past and as a Direct Support Professional in the healthcare field.  She enjoyed flowers, birds, and cats and cherished time spent with her grandkids making memories.

     She is survived by her husband: Stuart Hamilton of Flora; 2 children: Dustin (Julie) Hamilton of Parkersburg and Kaylee Hamilton (Benjamin Jordan) of Louisville; son-in-law: Lester Jordan of Cisne; father: Rex Brown of Flora; grandchildren: Ethan (Lindsey) O’Dell, Ariel Hamilton, Jordan Hamilton, Jasmine Spivey, Lori Vaughn, Xavier Hamilton, Daiton Jordan, Lester Jordan Jr., Janelle Jordan, Nachelle Staat, LaDonna Workman, Hunter Jordan, and Nathaniel Jordan; great-grandchild: Kingsley O’Dell; and siblings: Nancy (Wes) Cochran of Terre Haute, IN, Tammy Steward of Flora, Hank Brown of Flora, Julie (Kevin) Pride of Flora, Jeff Brown of Flora, and Kevin Brown of Flora.

     She was preceded in death by her mother: Betty L. Brown; 2 daughters: Angela Jordan O’Dell and Chasity Vaughn; a brother: Steve Hamilton; grandparents: Clarence and Mary Spitzner; father and mother-in-law: Charlie and Helen Hamilton; and a son-in-law: Samuel Vaughn.

     A funeral ceremony will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.  Interment will be in Floral Garden of Memories Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.  To share a memory or condolence visit: www.frankandbright.com
