Brian Edward Sessions, age 49, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Flora, Illinois, passed away Wednesday morning, April 15, 2020, at St. Vincent’s Hospice Care Unit in Jacksonville, Florida.

   He was born March 3, 1971, in Flora, Illinois, the son of Kennith E. Sessions and Judith K. (Dickerson) Knackmuhs.  On December 15, 1991, Brian married Roseann Lynn Briscoe and together they shared 29 years of marriage.

   Brian worked at Roadmaster in his younger years and later after moving to Florida he pursued a career in underground utilities working as a backhoe operator. He loved spending his free time playing his guitar, rock hunting, and spending time outdoors with his family.

   He is survived by his wife: Roseann Lynn Sessions; a daughter: Trish Cooley; 2 sons: Preston Sessions and Chadd Spicer; father: Kennith Sessions & wife Sherrie (Curella) Sessions; 2 brothers: James (Stephanie) Sessions and Jason Sessions; a sister: Nina (Nick) Dennis; a grandson: Kayden; a granddaughter: Isabella; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

   He was preceded in death by his mother: Judith K. (Dickerson) Knackmuhs; a son: Tyler Sessions; maternal grandparents: Roy & Grace Dickerson; and paternal grandparents: Kennith & Norene (Goad) Sessions.

   A Celebration of Life service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Thomason Cemetery, Wayne City, with Pastor Short Sledge officiating.  Memorial donations are suggested to the family to help offset final expenses and will be accepted through an account that has been set up at Flora Banking Company.  To share a memory or condolence visit: www.frankandbright.com
