Interment: Donoho Prairie Cemetery
Visitation: 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home
Sandra Dean Davis, age 60, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning, September 29, 2022, at her home.
She was born February 28, 1962, in Troy, Missouri, the daughter of Floyd Gene and Hazel (Leininger) Wimberly. She was united in marriage to Terry Davis on April 21, 1986, in Flora, and together they have shared 36 wedding anniversaries.
Sandy was a member of the Flora Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed crafting, drawing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband: Terry Davis of Flora; sister: Jeanette (Larry) Murphy; sister-in-law: Teresa Wimberly; nieces and nephews: Debbie (Tony) Aldrich, Larry (Darla) Murphy Jr., Sherry (Rodney) Hagen, Amber (Robert) Young, Heather Wimberly, and Jennifer (Kenny) Flier; and 2 brothers-in-law: Wayne Davis and Darren Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Clarence Wimberly; and mother- and father-in-law: Nancy and Jerry Davis.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Donoho Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
