Interment: Oskaloosa Cemetery
Visitation: 1 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home
Irma LaFern Krutsinger, age 91, a former resident of Xenia, passed away Wednesday night, December 16, 2020, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
She was born June 24, 1929, in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Loren and Pearl (Logan) Hockman. She was united in marriage to Tom Krutsinger September 27, 1947, and together they shared 32 wedding anniversaries until his death July 12, 1980.
Fern was a homemaker and retired from the housekeeping department at Salem Township Hospital. She was a member of Brown Christian Church.
She is survived by a sister: Ruth Spicer of Louisville; brother-in-law: Bob Anderson of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers: Buddy, Ed, and Ron Hockman; and a sister: Judy Anderson.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with Carroll Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Oskaloosa Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Cindy and I are sorry to hear about her passing. I have great memories of Fern when I preached at Brown. She was a great friend to the both of us
