I only knew Jamen for a short period of time, training with him at Lopez BJJ. Jamen was the epitome of a great training partner! He was courteous, thoughtful but very competitive. In our conversations, i was always impressed with his humble demeanor. Very heartbroken to hear of his passing. My humble prayer is comfort to his family, friends and loved ones.
Jamen was an open mic buddy of ours and was one of my number one supporters. I will always remember his sweet voice and sweet personality. He was a doll!
Our sincerest condolences. Jamen was my jiu jitsu brother of 10 years. He was was always extremely supportive to my whole family. I will keep one of our last competition memories close. Las Vegas 2018 Jamen as well as myself and my wife and kids all met up for a competition. Wasn't planned but we all got to spend the day competing what we love doing and winning a few matches. After we all enjoyed a great night having dinner amd enjoy music at The Hard Rock Cafe. He was as genuine a person as there could be. We will all keep his gentle manner, his friendship and his memory close.
Donna... I'm so sorry for your loss I will keep you in my prayers...

Jamen was my jiu jitsu brother and great friend for 5 years. I will always remember his smile and laugh. He had a way of connecting with others and making them feel safe. One of my favorite memories was going to the last Linkin Park concert together and hitting up the bar afterwards only to realize that we didn't even notice the earthquake because we were too busy talking. Sending my deepest condolences. RIP my friend. I miss you so much
My sincere condolences on your loss. I knew Jamen from the "Pranksters crew" some years ago, and then Jamen would be the first musician at the open mic I hosted, and I saw him at other open mics a lot as well. He was a great musician and will be missed immensely.
