Jeffrey Scott Kingery, age 42, of Flora, IL died at 2:57 PM on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Good Samaritan RHC in Mt. Vernon, IL.

He was born on June 21, 1970 in Flora, IL. Jeff enjoyed music, books, movies, especially Stephen King, was a St. Louis Cardinal fan, and loved being with family and friends.

He is survived by his father: Kevin Kingery (Ruth Ann) of Urbana; mother: Mary West (James “Red Top”) of Flora; brothers: Robert West (Jodi) of Flora, Daniel Kingery of Berlin, Germany, Gregory Kingery of Philadelphia, PA; sisters: Catherine Kingery of Chicago, Lindsey West of Flora; aunts and uncles: Daniel Edmonds of Ozark, Ralph Kingery (Sue) of San Diego, CA, Nancy Jensen of Oak Park, Sarah Jones of Flora, Norma Quandt of Swansea, Ada Baker of Tennessee, David West of Highland; nephews: Brendan and Logan West; along with many cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents (Daniel, Sr. and Donna Edmonds), paternal grandparents (Ralph and Dorothy Kingery, Fern West), and maternal great-grandmother (Florence Brown Henson).

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. There is no visitation. The Frank & Bright Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family has suggested memorial donations in Jeff’s memory be made to one of the following charities: Clay County Cancer Crusaders, Lupus Foundation of America, Flora Public Library, or Fur A Good Paws.
